Well established and rapidly growing Technology and Data company based in Alexandria/Mascot requires a Business Development Manager to manage a number of key accounts across Australia, develop new business and assist with new marketing strategies.

The role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactive business development and strategic account management of the client base across Australia along with contributing to revenue generating activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Hunt down opportunities to present research results and pitch the endorsement marketing (licensing) opportunity
• Meet with clients regularly and ensure their focus and strategy in the market is understood
• Promote and build on the strength of the brand
• Ensure research is ongoing so that the company can retain and increase its market lead
• Explore opportunities to sell research reports to existing and prospective clients
• Contribute to digital marketing campaigns and collaborate with other teams within the company

About you

You will be a confident, engaging and self-motivated individual with the passion and drive to succeed and go above and beyond to get results. You will have the following skills and experience:

• A minimum 2 years experience in sales with proven results
• Decisive by nature and follow up with strong communication skills to convey results to the team and clients
• The ability to work autonomously along with being personable and collaborative
• Flexible, adaptable and the ability to work in fast paced environment
• Technology experience and a passion for the industry is highly desirable
