About the role
We offer a range of marketing packages including annual partnerships and event-specific promotion, offering a combination of website advertising, newsletters, social media, blogs, solus newsletters and event content licensing and web development. The right candidate will be assisting with business development, client management and possibly the production of promotional material (Eg. newsletters).
The candidate with the right experience may be given the opportunity to drive this part of the business.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Work directly with the Managing Director
- Sell our market-leading digital product to prospective clients
- Analyse existing/potential client needs
- Assist with business development and build the client base
- Assist with the creation of promotional material (Eg. e-newsletters)
Who we’re looking for
This could be a full-time, part-time or contract role and will work directly with the Managing Director and a small team. We will consider varying degrees of experience, but the successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- Minimum three years of experience working in sales and marketing for arts & events media
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisation and project management skills
- Ideally, an existing network of contacts in the local and national arts & events industry
