The Position

As part of the senior management team you will work closely with the General Manager of Uneek 4x4 Australia/Barden Fabrications to build one company with multiple channels to the market place. The Operations/Sales Manager will play an integral role in the overall management and leadership of UNEEK 4X4 with focus on product growth and market share.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a small team, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Lead and oversee the operational functions of warehousing, packaging, logistics coordination and product installation of the Uneek 4x4 product range.
  • Assist the General Manager in steering and growing the overall business
  • Brand Management - positioning with end users and industry channels
  • Develop and manage a re-seller network within the automotive aftermarket space 
  • Marketing and setting business goals is accordance with Uneek 4x4 Australia Barden Fabrications and ACAD’s vision
  • Identify product opportunities in conjunction with the manufacturing team to design and develop new products to market
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the business
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
  • Inventory management
  • P & L management, budgeting and forecasting responsibility in line with ACAD accounting practices

Previous Experience

Automotive - preferable 4X4 aftermarket accessories (essential)

Channel Management (highly desirable)

Marketing/Sales and brand positioning (essential)

Product development (essential)

Proven experience in developing and establishing a re-seller network (essential)

Manufacturing, assembly, packaging and showroom management (highly desirable)

Engage industry channels, re-seller networks & clients at all levels in the automotive aftermarket space (essential)

An understanding of running a busy retail 4X4 outlet (highly desirable)

Financial reporting, P&L interpretation and compliance (essential)
