Our client is a full stack food tech platform focused on restaurant search, discovery and transactions.
Across most of focus countries, we're the go to food app for all their users.
In the last few years, they have also steadily built their transaction business on the back of a strong search and discovery business.
Today, they have multiple products and services that ensure the users have a great meal, every time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client Advertising platform provides smart targeting, a simpler interface and greater visibility to our well rated advertisers.
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in acquiring and engaging the right set of restaurants to use this Advertising platform and help them drive maximum value from it.
Based in the Head Office located in Melbourne CBD, however, interstate and intrastate travel may be required from time to time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively contact clients, pitch product and achieve sales targets
- Identify potential clients and generate sales leads for their product.
- Identify growth opportunities for your customer base
- End-to-end sales process, from cold calling to ongoing account management
- Attendance to regular team meetings, training and strategy sessions
- Forecasting expected sales
- Ensuring customer satisfaction levels are exceeded
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Good command in English and Korean
- Preference to take previous experience 1-2 years in sales.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales KPI and driving revenue
- Resilient and possesses a can-do attitude.
- Career-driven, self-motivated and interested in working for a fast-paced start-up.
- Familiarity with the geography and restaurant industry of Melbourne
- Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and has the ability to multi-task.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours.
- Great interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in maintaining and building client relationships.
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office) skills essential
- Keen to have fun at work
- Ability for the business trip (domestic / international)
