As leaders in the Waste Management Industry, Kartaway is seeking an experienced Sales Representative who is organised, confident, well presented and can adapt and develop in a competitive market to join our exciting and dynamic team.
This role is within the commercial sector and will see the successful applicant grow the business through cold-calling, liaising with existing clientele and build sales through their strong relationship management skills.
An integral member of the organisation, the Sales Representative is responsible for promoting our company's services and improving our market presence in Melbourne by targeting body corporations, cafes, restaurants and other small-to-medium sized commercial enterprises.
Focusing on the Front lift waste services, this role encompasses 80% New Business and 20% Account Management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Increase sales opportunities and develop 'new business' by liaising with current and potential clients.
- Liaise with current clients with a view to building and maintaining excellent working relationships.
- Preparing and submitting tender proposals.
- Plan, implement and review marketing and promotional activities with a view to generating new business and brand awareness.
- Research and develop new product applications, tailoring services and products to suit client's needs
Key attributes and competencies:
- Team player
- Confident and well presented
- Self-motivated, organised and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Proven record of success in sales, cold calling, meeting targets and growing market share
- Computer literate (Excel, Word etc.)
Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM tool would be highly regarded.
Waste Management / Transport / Construction industry experience would be an advantage.
