Starting as a Trainee Consultant role, otherwise known as a Candidate Manager, you will be taught how to source strong candidates and will be initially supporting a senior team member who will mentor you on a daily basis. In addition to this you will be given external training from professional coaches from Companies like Linkedin, Seek and other organizations.
From a Trainee Consultant role the next step will be to move into a Consultant role, which we anticipate happening within the first 4-6 months in the company. In this role, your commissions and your pay will increase with the sky being the limit as the opportunity to build closer relationships with a client base also becomes possible.
Progression to a Senior Consultant role and ultimately a role as an Associate Director are the next steps. As an Associate Director you will have the possibility of attaining stake in the company.
Some of your initial duties are listed below:
- Providing a high level of support to the senior team member and a team of consultant
- Attending client site visits to take job specs with a Senior Consultant
- Developing, posting and maintaining adverts on internet job boards
- Utilising our online headhunting tools and LinkedIn
- Conducting phone interviews
- Facilitating the candidate registration process and conducting face to face interviews
- Building effective relationships with candidates
- Full database management
- Completing reference checks.
To be successful a tertiary qualification is highly regarded. You must have at least one year's sales experience with previous experience resourcing or interviewing also being highly regarded.
Most important, though, is a positive attitude and the hunger to succeed.
