About the Role

With aggressive growth plans for 2018, we're looking for Account Executives to join our team. The role is a mix of hunter and farmer – someone who can win new customers, as well as manage and grow existing accounts.

 

As a hunter you'll drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.

  • Coverage of your prospect patch through calling and face to face meetings
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Leverage other teams to provide a consultative, solutions sell focusing on business challenges and requirements

 

As a farmer you'll manage the success of your customer accounts, and drive the growth of these accounts.

  • Act as the interface between the customer and the Service teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to spec
  • Own customers' success by understanding their key business objectives for working with us and ensuring those objectives are met
  • Recognise opportunities for upgrades/expansion and capitalise by leveraging your sales skills

 

You'll also get to work closely with our leadership team and founder and have the opportunity to impact the growth of the business. 

 

About You

Ideally suited to a sales rep who is looking to make the move into a full cycle sales role and with an interest in owning and expanding their own accounts. You'll also gain some experience working alongside an experienced tech founder - invaluable if you're thinking about starting your own startup in the future!

Some of the attributes that will make you successful in this role include a strong work ethic, intelligence, curiosity for all things tech, and a willingness to learn and grow.

In addition, you'll also ideally have:

  • A university degree
  • Experience in tech, digital, or marketing industries preferred
