Our client manufacture a high-quality range of Commercial Drainage, Valves, Piping Systems & tapware for a variety of applications. They have seen steady growth in recent years and are considered to be a premium supplier in their market. As a result of the expansion, they are looking to recruit a specialist sales professional to focus on the commercial construction sector in Melbourne. This is a senior role and has a genuine avenue to people management and business unit management in the future. Full product training can be provided.
You will be specifying these systems to both Consulting Engineers, Tier 1 Plumbing and Heating Contractors and End Users such as a hospital or the education sector. The sales cycles can be long ranging from 2 months up to a year and typical project values to our client range from $50k into the hundreds of thousands. As a senior team member in Melbourne you will be comfortable working autonomously but also you will be responsible for assisting and directing the merchant channel with the day to day management of each project.
You will be immaculately presented, a strong networker and you will thrive in an autonomous role where you will be given free rein to strategically plan and implement a go-to-market strategy. You will have B2B sales experience within the construction industry, ideally from within the plumbing market, although specific product training will be provided. You will be a strong communicator, hardworking and career minded, looking to take the next step in your career towards a management role.
