What you will be delivering

Working in the Commercial Energy Services division of AusNet Services, you will support the growth and delivery of exciting and new major energy projects across Australia. Working within a growth area of the energy sector, you will report to the Manager Partnerships and Market Development and be responsible for managing the Commercial Energy Services division key customers and partners, through managing cross business engagement of key accounts, designing, implementing and establishing strategic partnerships to further expand the business.

The role will identify, establish and manage strategic relationships with key customers and partners, working with industry and across the business with internal stakeholders, to leverage integrated business opportunities, engaging our partners to create unique competitive advantages for the business. The role directly supports Commercial Energy Services business strategy for growth.

Duties:

  • Implement, manage, monitor and improve the partner engagement framework ensuring strategic engagement with key customers and partners is managed across the business.
  • Lead centralised account management of key customers and partners, engaging effectively across the business.
  • Identify, initiate, build and strengthen key strategic partnership relationships to support business plan objectives.
  • Grow revenue and profitability through maximising business partnerships across the business units.
  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities that leverage the integrated business offering in collaboration with partners.
  • Liaise with market participants to assist and influence strategic account management.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with industry leaders to understand market trends and developments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong business acumen, including proposals and strategic account plans.
  • Strong strategic stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of organisation, including executive and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience and willingness to work as a team, forming cross functional teams, allowing you to focus on business benefit, value relationship and opportunity development.
  • Significant business development and strategic partner management experience including success in the commercialisation of new opportunities and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Extensive experience and track record in driving revenue growth through strategic partner engagement and management.
  • Industry experience (preferred) and exposure to industry trends
