Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd. is a member of the Liebherr Group. The company is responsible for selling and servicing earthmoving machinery, mining equipment, mobile cranes as well as foundation and piling equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand.



Liebherr-Australia Maritime Cranes Division is seeking a driven, professional and technically minded salesperson to join our team in the newly created role of Sales Manager. Based at our purpose-built branch located at Erskine Park and reporting to the General Manager, this position will work autonomously and as part of a small local team to manage sales and accounts of new and existing clients throughout Australia and the Oceania Region.

 Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing product awareness
  • Preparation of quotations and offers for the supply of new equipment
  • Management of the full customer life cycle from quote through to handover and after-sales
  • Promoting the Liebherr MCCtec Rostock brand and the quality and reliability of our products
  • Implementing sales initiatives
  • Selling and promoting range of MCCtec Rostock products inc. equipment and parts

     Frequent interstate travel to respond to customer enquiries and maintain the existing account base will be required. Availability for international travel for exhibitions, customer days and training to the European factories is essential.

 Engineering qualifications will be highly advantageous although not essential as would experience in OEM equipment and/or maritime industry. Knowledge in machinery sales within the port, off-shore or maritime industry will be highly regarded. A strong technical background with international communication skills and understanding of commercial and financial functions is also desirable.
