About the Role
With the strategic emphasis on new markets, we are looking to recruit an energetic and driven individual to fill the role as Technical Sales Representative. This is a Sydney-based position with some travel in country NSW.
The role reports directly to the Sales Manager and will see you responsible to grow existing revenue within your territory with both existing and new customers, with support from internal staff will ensure continued service delivery to your customers. The product range is large and varied as are our customers.
Skills & Experience
As the successful candidate you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven sales experience in a Technical Sales/Account Management position
- Technical qualifications – electrical or electronic preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Proven track record of successful sales growth and business development within a given territory or state
- Must be passionate, driven self-starter who can work autonomously to deliver tangible results
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential, you must be able to present technical information to customers in a clear and precise manner
- Demonstrate strong sales instincts and resilience
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and business acumen
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and organise competing work demands to meet deadlines and work objectives
