About the business and the role
Godden Food Group is one of South East QLD's leading foodservice distributors, currently supplying a diverse range of customers including fish & Chip shops, takeaways, Cafes, Clubs, Pubs & Restaurants etc.
Currently seeking passionate & customer focused foodservice professionals with prior Foodservice sales experience.

Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicant with be required to:
• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts and minimise lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and KPIs within the assigned territory.
• Seek, qualify and convert prospects in accordance with sales goals and targets.
• Ensure premium customer service.
• Assist customer queries about products, prices, availability and product uses.
• Communicate and collect balances due as necessary, in conjunction with Accounts Receivable department to ensure credit application details are accurate and complete.
• Troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (i.e. out of stock items, special order items, etc.) working closely with Customer Service department.
• Review and analyse weekly and monthly reports (call cycles, sales/gross profit margin data and account profitability).
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing monthly Management reports, sales proposals and quotes, maintaining call logs and sales records.
Skills and experience
key Qualities required:
• Prior Product Knowledge of Broad Based product range
• Good understanding of the Foodservice/Hospitality or wholesale sales industry
• Proven sales experience
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to achieve budgeted sales and margins
• Full drivers license
• Experience in developing and maintaining profitable relationships with existing & new customers
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Solid computer literacy
• Advanced excel skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious.
