Your Potential Employer
Our client provides a diverse range of fire sprinkler, hydrant and hose reel products for the Fire & Plumbing sector servicing commercial and multi-level residential complexes. As a consequence of growth within the sector and to cater for greater personalised service, this well-known organisation requires the services of an Account Sales Executive to join them in a permanent role.
Being part of a specialised Sales team, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining current relationships with existing customers and to also foster new relationships with potential customers to enhance the business.
The business, operating out of Melbourne in Victoria, is a busy hub and as a consequence a team-player attitude will be a mandatory requirement.
Reporting to the National Business Line Manager, the successful applicant would require a Mechanical / Sprinkler Fitting knowledge or background and be able to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment. Preference would be given to a candidate with experience in a sales capacity, preferably in the construction industry with a strong understanding of fire sprinkler, hydrant and hose reel systems and must possess a strong bias towards effective Customer Service.
A suitably attractive remuneration package including a company car will be negotiated with the ideal candidate who meets the following criteria
Essential
- Mechanical / Sprinkler Fitting experience or knowledge
- Sound inter-personal communication skills
- Experience in a Sales capacity
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation
- Team orientated
Desirable:
- Experience with Fire Sprinkler, Hydrant & Hose Reel Systems
- Experience with modern ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Nav is preferred)
