A great opportunity has arisen in our TAIT Home Timber and Hardware business for a Customer Service Representative based in our Mt Waverley branch, reporting to the Trade Sales Manager, this position is store based working within our Trade team.
You will have previous sales experience at a Trade Desk level or similar capacity. Your ability to build strong relationships in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required sales targets and KPI’s whilst adding real value to our trade customers.
The key areas of accountability include:
- Achievement of sales, margin and product mix targets
- The ability to attract new customers in addition to growing existing business
- Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Ability to clearly communicate to customers via phone and email
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Safety being part of our everyday culture
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
- A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
- A comprehensive understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience in Timber, Plumbing and Building materials
- Previous experience in a similar sales role
- Ability to multi task in a dynamic fast paced trade business
You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with proven results in customer service and a solid knowledge of building products
