Hairhouse Warehouse is looking for a commercially savvy, inspirational and experienced business development professional to act as a Brand Ambassador to drive sales & operational excellence to optimise service standards throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.  

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this is a business-critical role, responsible for driving sales, profitability and achieving sustainable growth for all franchisees within the state. Through monthly planning meetings at each store location, the role will involve:

  • Analysing and making recommendations on stores P&L and business plans with each franchisee in line with sales forecasts and profit expectations including high level Balance Sheet and Cash Flow along with other key profit drivers such as stock take, procurement and B2B purchasing systems,
  • Developing and recommending sales opportunities (including development of Local Area Marketing plans to target key growth areas),
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to continually improve the Franchisee’s competencies in sales skills, customer experience, merchandising and compliance to align with the culture and the Hairhouse Warehouse brand
  • Develop strategies to overcome obstacles and business challenges

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, the ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years’ plus experience with a Retail, Services or Supplier business managing a territory with multiple locations (Franchise experience is favourable)
  • Passionate about the hair and beauty industry and presents as a credible brand ambassador
  • Demonstrated success in P&L accountability, sales uplift and profit growth 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience as a business owner – privately owned or franchise operation is desirable
  • Knowledge of the salon industry is advantageous
  • Exposure to high volume visual merchandising and stock management 
  • Ability to build and maintain great relationships and have proven negotiation and influencing skills to train, coach and mentor franchisees
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a team player and thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment  
  • Melbourne based with monthly region travel requirements and a clean driver’s license
