Landaco Equipment is an Australian owned manufacturer of fertiliser spreaders based in Wagga Wagga who is seeking an Agricultural Sales Representative to join their team in handling national sales.
The main priority of the Agricultural Sales Representative is to liaise with both potential and existing customers. They will need to respond to all queries from our customers relating to;
- Direct enquiry quotations.
- Spare part enquiries.
- New product promotions.
- Existing customer assistance.
Landaco prides itself with a great product combined with great services that continues even after the sale has been completed. The Sales Representative will reflect this in their manner at which they approach each task put before them.
The individual will be under the direction of the sales manager and therefore will be guided and directed in all tasks performed, however that said; we need you to be ambitious and take initiative.
*Experience not essential however; rural or mechanical knowledge would be of benefit*
Duties Include:
Responding to direct enquiries – This is done by either phone, email or mail, by supplying information on our spreaders and quotations of pricing and availability.
Arranging spare part quotations
Existing customers will require assistance – Customers will require help when setting up their spreaders for the first time as well as for spreading different applications. The Agricultural Sales Representative will oversee advising the customer on what is to be done. Training will be provided initially for this kind of thing.
Field Day attendance – Field day and demo attendance may be required throughout the year which will involve travel.
Computing programs used – Word, Excel, Outlook, ACT!.
The desired applicant will be an energetic individual with a keen eye, attention to detail and have a desire to grow with the business’ demands.
Hours and Remuneration
A competitive salary and uncapped commission package is available to the successful applicant. The position offered is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8am – 5;30pm with occasional, ad hoc weekend work.
