As an Account Manager – Courier, you will retain and grow the existing Courier customer portfolio by strategically analysing customer activity, proactively providing issue resolution support, and increasing share of wallet.
Major accountabilities
- Source and secure new business opportunities from within your allocated customer base
- Understand your customer, priorities, needs, and business processes
- Act as a point of escalation for customers and internal/external stakeholders; proactively resolving issues and complaints.
- Manage business-to-business relationships with targeted organisations; leading to the establishment of long-lasting mutually profitable business partnerships
- Identify and collaborate with the appropriate internal stakeholders & resources to win, nurture & grow commercial relationships
Essential experience
To be successful in this role, you will have 1–2 years’ experience within a sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment. You will be savvy in what happens at an external market level, which will support your ability to make informed decisions for the best interests of both the customer and our business. In addition, an ability to be a team player while aligning to our Culture Pillars and Code of Success will support your success. To ensure you develop and grow you will be mentored and supported in the role by a supportive leadership team.
Your positive impact on internal relationships will help you accomplish the effective resolution of service delivery and commercial business issues, in order to effectively manage customer expectations. You will also be required to actively participate in the management of safety, health and wellbeing of the team.
