IPS Management Consultants have had an exciting couple of years. We now require a dedicated business development professional to help take our business to the next level. The role is positioned reporting to the Managing Director, working across the entire business and its associated entities, with an Australia wide customer focus and resources.

The position is full-time, we are open to the role being based in Port Macquarie, and will involve travel within NSW and interstate.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities within the government and non-government sectors
  • Ensuring the completion of high quality, competitive and innovative tenders and proposals
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within client organizations
  • Facilitate the negotiation and finalisation of contracts and legal documentation
  • Promoting concepts and influencing the client to award business based on capability and track record in similar situations
  • Arrange and attend client meetings and presentations, in conjunction with Directors and subject matter experts

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience driving business development across a growing business with diverse locations and services
  • The ability to co-ordinate tender response processes, systems and deadlines in a team context
  • Exceptional business and proposal writing skills
  • Significant networks and access to prospective clients
  • A detailed understanding of baseline sales and account management theory and experience applying it in practice
  • The proven results of delivery partnered with seeing the opportunity in every situation
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to rapidly present information, influence stakeholders and create narratives
  • Relentless drive and ambition to provide the best solution, service and experience to stakeholders

We also require extremely high integrity with regards to confidentiality, the ability to create a plan and follow it through (not chase butterflies) and the experience, knowledge, results and desire to collaborate to achieve.
