This presents an exciting and unique opportunity for a motivated, experienced and highly competent outcomes focused BDM to develop and grow our East Coast presence and maximise sales in the Industrial and Commercial markets.
You will work with end users, specifiers, influencers and our channel partners and play a key part in building and maintaining this key relationship base on the East Coast. Your role will have a strong focus on identifying, progressing and securing major sales opportunities and maintaining strategic and key relationships, with strong day-to-day support from our sales and support team.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, generate and qualify leads
- Collaborate with end users, specifiers, influencers, external partners and internal sales team to deliver sales opportunities
- Grow, manage and maintain our CRM database – new companies, new contacts, new opportunities
- Interpret customer requirements and specifications to determine appropriate product selection and provide recommendations where necessary
- Maintain strong strategic and key relationships
- Develop, execute and deliver to a sales plan
- Record and report on sales activities and outcomes
- Professionally represent the company at various promotional and networking events
Requirements
- 5+ years’ demonstrated B2B sales experience with proven track record of success, ideally with industrial or commercial property related products
- Ability to travel regularly, potentially 1-2 weeks per month
- Natural ability to network, build rapport, grow and maintain relationships
- Proven sales history and success in growing new business
- Highly motivated, autonomous and goal orientated
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Exceptional organisation, planning and administrative skills
- Sound understanding of industrial and commercial sectors highly advantageous
