There is an opportunity that has become available with a company that has an Australia and New Zealand presence within the consumer electronics industry.Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join the business and drive business across the vertical market.
This newly created role is responsible for driving sales across verticals in the market, examples, education, health, government and hospitality sectors. You will be hunting for new business in any of these verticals and using your knowledge and experience to drive sales and to develop relationships with the key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and presenting business cases to promote the consumer products within any of the verticals
- Forecast and plan for new opportunities through existing relationships or developing new business opportunities.
- Most importantly to build and maintain key relationships within these verticals.
Crucial to your success within this role you must have:
- 3-4 years sales experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar sales position.
- Experience in selling into but not limited to the education, health, government or the hospitality sectors
- Experience in technology or consumer electronics sector would be advantageous
- New business orientated
- Commercially savvy
- Fantastic communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven time management and business planning skills
- Competency in using the MS suite
- Flexibility in being able to travel interstate and some international.
