Sales Representative / Territory Manager – Leverage your demonstrated, external sales experience, contacts in retail pharmacy, and passion for health and wellness, in a highly autonomous role with an international company.

Sales Representative / Territory Manager - Our client is a growing health and wellness brand providing natural supplements and products to support general wellbeing, as well as specific products targeted for pain relief etc. Boasting a unique, innovative portfolio of products developed using natural ingredients, they are on a growth trajectory and now seek a Sales Representative / Territory Manager to join the team, servicing the NSW territory (Sydney CBD, North and surrounds).

As Sales Representative / Territory Manager, demonstrating your strategic approach to sales, your focus will be on pharmacies, independents, specialist retailers and product distributors. Promoting brand awareness to maximize sales, you’ll develop and implement sales strategies, introduce new products, identify business development opportunities, negotiate promotional opportunities, represent the company at events and effectively grow business across NSW. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy, operating from a home office you’ll regularly be on the road meeting clients face to face.

As Sales Representative / Territory Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Active business development, networking and sales of supplement products to pharmacies, retailers, health food stores, and health product distributors
  • Proactively building relationships with health professionals (such as Pharmacists and Chemists), key stakeholders etc within the assigned geographic region to increase brand awareness and sales
  • Championing supplements, including the promotion of effective ways to improve ones' health, optimize performance and general well-being
  • Account management including following-up closely on sales agreements, delivery, and post-sales activities
  • Responding to information requests with promotional company collateral and/or presentations
  • Organising and representing the company at exhibition booths and sponsored conferences / symposia etc

As Sales Representative / Territory Manager, you'll possess a very high level of motivation and drive, and the ability to quickly learn technical information regarding vitamins, supplements and/or health and wellbeing products. 

As Sales Representative / Territory Manager, you will possess the following demonstrated attributes:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in external sales servicing clients in retail pharmacies and/or health food stores
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Health Science, Business or Marketing would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development, relationship management and negotiation with external stakeholders 
  • A very high level of self-motivation and a true go-getter approach
  • The demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills (able to present to health professionals and consumers), coupled with an outgoing, friendly nature
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • A solid level of computer literacy
