An exciting new opportunity has just opened up to join our Orora Specialty Packaging division based out of our Oakleigh South Branch. You'll report to our Sales & Design Operations Manager and be part of a sales team of 10. With the addition of the Nozomi printer at our Oakleigh site, we're looking for someone who can help us open doors and bring in new clients, primarily in the FMCG space across Victoria. You'll also be entrusted with a small portfolio of existing customers to service and grow as well as being responsible for identifying new accounts within your designated region.

 

Who we're looking for

  • You'll be targeted with developing business in the FMCG space, so we're looking for someone ideally with an existing network in that vertical
  • Someone with a good understanding of print processes including flexo, digital and offset litho
  • A good undertsanding of artwork, proofing and workflow standards
  • A good understanding of the print management landscape in Australia
  • Experienced in selling and managing high value transactions
  • Experienced at selling both a cost plus and market price value proposition
  • A strong capability in the technical elements of print, point of sale and packaging

 

What you need to be successful in this role

  • Be a proven self-starter
  • Have a strong track record overachieving sales goals and targets
  • Ability to open doors and develop relationships with key stakeholders within FMCG clients
  • A good technical understanding of printing, packaging and commercial understanding of how to sell product at margin
  • Incredibly well organised to effectively manage project workflow
  • A proven sales hunter with who understands the world of time-sensitive brand related print and packaging sales presentations, briefs and project delivery.
