Our NSW team is in need of a highly motivated, confident Territory Manager to join our team,  managing a territory of retailers covering Penrith throught to Mudgee, Oberon and surrounding areas. This role requires an individual who thrives on a challenge - Territory Managers contribute to optimise volume; share & profit of an identified ITA agreed portfolio aligned to specific customers by doing so influencing shopper decisions via generating customer and shopper needs-based services to create value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute a territory coverage plan that ensures engagement with key strategic customers
  • Generate demand for our strategic and focus brands through influencing customers and shoppers by providing information and services that satisfy their needs
  • Set and ensure agreed distribution to ensure maximised availability of ITA brands, in order to meet the needs of our customers and consumers
  • Collaborate internally with other business functions and align with our call centre to maximise Onelink opportunities
  • Negotiate trading terms and display agreements with independent customers to ensure ITA brands are ranged and available to shoppers
  • Leveraging and capitalising on commercially viable service opportunities with strategic customers, to gain maximum visibility and ranging, customer advocacy
  • Build sustainable business relationships with assigned customers. Implement Retail Engagement Plans and Trade Communication Strategies
  • Collect and report of relevant information/data to maintain an accurate database
  • Adopt a Risk Management approach to the role responsibilities consistent with the relevant company Occupational Health & Safety policies.

Reporting to an Area Sales Manager, this role requires a self-reliant individual who is able to implement portfolio and account strategies, ensure compliance to trading terms and build strong relationships. Effective time management and sound oral & written skills are crucial to success.

The ideal candidate will also possess a strong passion for growth; the ability to work independently & as part of a team and contribute in a tough environment, constantly challenging themselves to meet their objectives and recent demonstrable FMCG sales experience in servicing/managing various types of retailer customers.

A fully maintained company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone will be provided to the successful candidate.
