A premium 4-star holiday resort nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Maroochy River, Novotel Twin Waters Resort offers a pristine beachfront location, set amongst 14 hectares of natural bushland and situated around a private beach-lined lagoon. Novotel Twin Waters Resort is conveniently located 5km?s from the Sunshine Coast Airport and an hour?s drive north of Brisbane.

A rare opportunity exists for a pro-active and experienced sales professional to play a key role in developing the MICE market segment at NTWR.  Working with a team of passionate sales professionals your main role will be striving to exceed target and playing a senior role within our Sales and Marketing team.  This is an exciting time at the resort with new developments taking off in 2019, positioning the resort as one of the most diverse MICE venues in Australia.
 
With 361 accommodation rooms, various outdoor options and 12 event spaces to sell and a close working relationship with Sebel Twin Waters, you will be the go to person for all of your key industry contacts for NTWR.  As an AccorHotels ambassador you will provide insight and knowledge for the Sunshine Coast area.  And, as a natural ?hunter? you will thrive on attending tradeshows, industry networking and MICE events enjoying regular travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and NZ to follow up on your finely tuned researching.
 
Naturally you will excel with verbal and written communication, playing a key role in communicating to our hotel based sales and revenue teams.  Highlighting some of the attributes you will be required to,

  • Develop new accounts utilising your prospecting and telemarketing skills
  • Strategically manage key accounts, working closely with corporate office in Sydney and the regional team in Brisbane
  • Lead and host famils to targeted buyers
  • Show a calm attitude in times of rapid change/last minute requests, including excellent personal organisation and time management skills
  • Have a confident and enthusiastic approach to reach and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets with the ability to understand budgets and necessary reports
  • Be professional in presentation and personal grooming whilst being innovative and fearless
  • Lead by example and work cohesively with the MICE Sales team
  • Have a thorough understanding of sales and operational procedures in a large MICE hotel or Convention Centre
  • Have a keen eye for detail, well tuned listening skills and the ability to stay abreast of our competitors strategies
  • Have a strong understanding of the critical role that Loyalty plays in our success and driving revenue into our hotels and resorts ? you will embrace and lead our Loyalty strategies
