Sydney/NSW; Business Development Manager - Power Systems and Equipment, Exciting opportunity with established multinational, Global OEM and Equipment Service Provider.

With a global turnover of some $5.9Bn, the company operates 6 business units, across the globe and has been an ever present force here in Australia for over 20 years; having enjoyed substantial successes within their process management business unit the company are now seeking to recruit 2 Sales Engineers, whom will be expected to develop and grow their sales within their Power Generation and Distribution side of their business.

THE ROLE:

Reporting back into the Regional Director the successful individuals will be expected to grow and increase the company’s sales across the power distribution and network power product portfolio. This is a solution based role where you will be dealing on a daily basis with a range of Consulting Engineers winning specifications, following through with contractors and Facility Managers with end-users. The role will see the successful individual focusing on projects within the mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, and utilities markets, dealing directly with end users, and with major EPCMS’s.

THE CANDIDATE:

A strong technical sales pedigree in either mechanical or electrical engineering is essential, as is some experience of selling a range of electrical engineering products or systems, into a broad variety of end user customers. Some experience of selling via consulting engineers and EPCM;s is highly beneficial when applying for this position. Full product specific training will be provided to the successful candidate and a stable, rewarding career path is on offer.
