About the role
The position requires the ability to increase turnover, margins and profit within the Mining, engineering and construction markets.
The primary objective of this role is identifying and promoting all business opportunities in a well-established market, as well developing and maintaining a good pipeline of current and new customers.

Skills and experience
- Be responsible in developing new business opportunities and managing key customers.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work away from home. Extensive East Coast travel is required.
- Pro-active in providing technical support with value adding solutions to clients and allocated market territories.
- Have exceptional communication skills to liaise with suppliers and clients direct.
- Have the capability and common sense to quickly acquire product knowledge.
- Prepare, deliver and file quotations with systematic follow up.
- Work closely with the CEO and COO to reduce overall expenditure and increase sales.
- Sales Management experience essential. Intermediate to advanced administration / computing skills.
