Business Development Manager – Part Time

 

This person is a great communicator and a natural closer with an eye for detail and technical selling. As a self-starter, they will be responsible for hitting volume in their given markets.

It's a newly created position, reporting to our Head of Sales with accountability for ensuring the company continues to achieve its APAC sales revenue targets and significant year on year growth.

The role will require domestic travel and provides the opportunity to engage with elite stakeholders within the real estate market.

 

The Position 

The successful candidate will cover the role as Business Development Manager for secondary markets including Universities, Transport Hubs, Hospitals, residential and Airports who needs to embody the perfect balance of naturally engaging people skills with attention to detail and technical understanding of our offerings. 

This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who also knows how the get the most out of others and to manage their targets and delivery. Passion, talent, hunger and a burning desire to get more people back on two wheels is what we like. 

There is a team to assist you which consists of a Sales Support and a Contracts Administrator. Future career progression is on offer as is the opportunity to work overseas at either their UK or America offices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to and backing our Head of Sales 
  • Engage with stakeholders including owners, management, architects, consultant & developers
  • Focus on secondary markets including Universities, Transport Hubs, Hospitals, residential and Airports
  • Manage sales pipeline and hit personal sales targets
  • Support the head of sales with consistently signing new projects in other markets
  • Assist in rolling out our new initiatives 
  • Prepare design briefs for our space planning team based on site visits or plan reviews, whilst managing stakeholder expectations 
  • Maintaining the sales pipeline accuracy so everything is captured and is being followed up appropriately 
  • Great communication skills including face to face meetings, phone and emails
  • Assist our national account manager to sign service contracts

 

Key Experience, Skills and Attributes

  • Background in Architect engagement and specification management within the Building/Construction Industry
  • Demonstrate a high level of organisational skills with the ability to effectively convert and feed a large sales pipeline
  • Into riding bikes 
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Self-starter who is highly motived
  • A proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets
  • Team player 
  • Excellent written, computer and communication skills 
  • Fun to work for and with 
  • Detailed knowledge of managing sales pipeline and reporting via a CRM
  • Comfortable in a small business that's growing fast
  • Calm under pressure

  • Attractive base remuneration package with bonus's
  • Part-time remuneration pro rated @ 80%
