Purpose

This position is responsible for managing sales, admin and operations staff, achieving sales, margins and debtor’s targets and overseeing product procurement whilst supporting the Manager – Wholesale & Business Development.

Key responsibilities for this role include

•  Undertake regular face to face calls to new and existing customers with a view to expanding our business.
•  Obtain information on customers’ current requirements, future needs and existing supply chains and enter into Company CRM
•  Ensure all customer contact is well planned, recorded and performed at all times in a professional and courteous manner.
•  Utilise sales and marketing promotions and events to maximise call success, customer acquisition and retention
• Implement and support the strategic plans, the marketing plans and the brand plans across the business, particularly those targeting the butcher and wholesale channels.

Personal Attributes, Skills & Experience

• Practical knowledge of the food and/or meat industry.
