The Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager for Moreton Hire, you will be responsible for ensuring new business opportunities are gathered and brought into the company. You will ensure exciting opportunities are contracted and set a course with our Account Management team and clientele to enable the smooth running of projects. Excellent communication with stakeholders is crucial to the success of this position. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Developing a pipeline of new business in addition to managing the existing client base.
- Assisting customers to maximise brand presence and ROI in their exhibition space.
- Liaising with key internal and external parties to ensure all project requirements are met within set timeframes.
- Organising Face to Face meetings with prospective new clients and venues.
- Developing client loyalty and secure ongoing business opportunities.
- Potential to tap into international markets and new revenue streams.
- Enjoy exciting travel opportunities here and abroad.
- Genuine passion and natural ability in Sales
- Completed University Degree
- Preferred experience in the Business Events industry, although sales experience in leading industry sectors are welcomed.
- Experience and knowledge of managing corporate customers.
- Comfortable with reporting, budgeting and job costing.
- A passionate and dynamic attitude to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Confidence in customer service.
- An ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Driver's license, reliable vehicle and permanent residency in Australia.
