Position Overview

Due to our client’s continuing growth and presence in the market, they are looking to add a talented Business Development professional to the team within their Headquarters at Macquarie Park. The Business Development Manager, in partnership with the Sales Director and Sales Team, will be responsible for the success, defined by developing new business opportunities across Australia, portfolio development and client engagement levels facilitated by exceptional relationship management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage existing knowledge and networks within the retail sector to build a new and expanding portfolio within Glory Global Solutions.


Your primary objectives will be working as part of the Business Development team and you will:

  • Maintain and grow the Australian Retail portfolio, specifically through the acquisition of new clients and the continuity of existing relationships
  • Develop strong engagement with key decision makers within prospects through strategic planning, direct cold calling and from existing contacts.
  • Define and execute sales strategy for solution portfolio
  • Promote Cash Automation technology to all potential customers, creating awareness of Glory’s wider product portfolio
  • Proactively generate opportunities and qualify new opportunities


Your Background

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in generating leads and closing new business. They will also demonstrate outstanding skills in the following areas;

  • Exceptionally strong sales capability. Building and maintaining a strong pipeline.
  • Strong grasp of selling into the retail, gaming or hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to present at CXO level.
  • Self driven, entrepreneurial attitude.
