ABOUT THE OPPERTUNITY
SGS Environmental Health and Safety Services provides analytical, testing and field based measurement and sampling to a broad range of clients to address environmental regulatory compliance issues and reduce risk. We are looking for a highly driven individual to act as a Sales Representative supporting our Notting Hill team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the National Business Development Manager, your duties will include:
- Driving sales through visiting existing customers, networking and up-selling existing service programs
- Identify sales prospects, explore the market and new customers by cold calling, face to face interaction and consistently following through
- Conducting sales planning to meet activity sales and revenue targets
- Monitoring product development and activities within the market
- Preparing proposal documentation and assisting Business Managers with tender submissions
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to provide 100% commitment to customer service
- Developing and maintaining CRM records
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
As the ideal candidate, you will have some experience in sales with the desire to become an accomplished sales representative. You will be someone who possesses a positive and energetic attitude, but most of all a willingness to expand your knowledge. You will also possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management and/or Engineering/Science.
- Solid experience working in a similar position within a related field.
- Demonstrated successful track record in Account Management, Sales and/or Business Development.
- Previous experience working in/or sound knowledge of laboratory operations.
- High level of customer service experience.
- Previous experience in the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
