The Role

This position is responsible for recruiting new Digital and Card business from the ANZ banking sector, payments, transport and retail service providers. You will be the lead sales representation for IDEMIA positioning our global and local expertise in payment products, services and solutions. The position will require you to scope, develop and close sales opportunities. Furthermore, provide effective end–to-end management of new business, from award of business through to contract establishment and handover to the Account Management Team.

The Person

    Work Experience:

    • Previous experience in SmartCard industry highly desirable
    • Ten years technology and solution sales experience to Banking customers
    • Large national business experience preferred
    • Exposure to outsourcing and production environment desirable as you will need to understand the operations.
    • Existing strong network of contacts in banking's and payments space.

    • Ability to establish and maintain with Customers a high level of trust and confidence in our products/services and capabilities.
    • Effective learner and listener. Absorbs customer's needs and pain points and capable of mapping a strategy to address these.
    • Energetic and enthusiastic about sales and able to tackle problems head on and find solutions
    • Strong consultative sales experience alongside mature and adaptable personality.
    • Sound understanding of complete sales approach that includes post sales customer management.
    • Methodical, strict and disciplined with the job, strong organization skills in accordance with established direction and standards.
    • Demonstrable skills in working with different tiers of management and sectors across an organization.
    • Commercially astute and creative thinker.

    Education:

    • University degree, Business degree preferred, relevant work experience in lieu also acceptable.
