Pure Dairy is a privately held, Australian based dairy company specialising in the sales/marketing of dairy products manufactured globally. A business segregated into three operational divisions; Food Service, Retail and International Trading, this role forms an important part of the food service team.

Pure Dairy's food service range includes Burger Slices, Cheddar, Swiss, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Fetta, Mexi Shred Blend and Cheese Sauce.

 

In the role of Business Development Professional, we require an influential and strategic professional to drive sales and increase revenue.

You will have recent food service and account management experience as well as significant exposure in customer retention. Additionally, you will have a demonstrated track record of solutions based selling and with an emphasis on building strong relationships.

To succeed in this role, you need a solid sales background, be a highly energetic and hungry for success individual that exudes confidence, personality and passion!

This dynamic role offers excellent variety and is ideally suited to a proactive professional that possess excellent communication skills, capacity to work under pressure and a strong ability to multi task.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director, your day to day activities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Increase the end user customer base across key channels, strengthen contact and relationship with distributors.
  • Achieve and exceed Pure Dairy's food service sales budget for the Victoria territory
  • Increase the distribution of products within Victoria
  • Meet and exceed the Pure Dairy customer service standard
  • Conduct reviews with key stakeholders on product and account performance, this includes Distributors and Key End Users
  • Identify and pursue new and different business opportunities
  • Maintain up to date Customer records on the CRM ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
  • Attend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experiences;

  • Proven experience working in sales within the FMCG industry
  • Passion for food and cooking
  • Proven experience in solution selling
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence to meet new people and present effectively, with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • Strong administrative skills
  • To have a reliable vehicle and a current driver's license
  • Confidence to show initiative and contribute to team objectives.
  • Computer literate - intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for over exceeding customer's expectations
