What are retail Banker roles all about?

As the biggest business within our Consumer & Wealth portfolio, our branch network helped almost 3 million personal and business customers last year. In Retail, we make a big impact!

Starting initially as a Banker you will assist our customers with their general banking transactions and inquiries, personal loans and credit cards, as well as owner occupied and investment lending, along with educating customers on our innovative products and services, including our digital self-servicing options.

While in this role you will be on a fast tracked learning and development pathway to become a future Home Lending Specialist, you’ll essentially be a trained relationship manager with the support of our leaders and coaches. You will provide financial advice and guidance on a range of personal and mortgage lending products. Your focus will be on providing lending and insurance solutions to our retail customers, as well as business, wealth and financial planning referrals.

Being a trusted advisor will allow you to excite our customers and introduce them to the possibilities that NAB can provide to help them reach their goals. It could be about saving, purchasing a first home, or protecting their family and valued possessions in ways they could not have thought of.
