About us:
The Job Training Institute (JTI) commenced in August 2008 to create a quality training program to provide participants seeking employment in the community and health industries in the south eastern suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne; with the choice to influence how, when and where they can receive their relevant training.
Due to company growth, we're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to develop new business relationships, negotiate and generate new business.
About the opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to work within Employment Services Providers, Community Agencies, Local Government sectors. This role is based in Sunshine.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for individual leads generation and appointment setting (approx. 20 students per month)
- Understand the Obligations under the various funding contracts
- Actively and successfully conduct environmental scans to assess business opportunities
- Manage the sales process - lead generation; negotiation; closing deals
Skills and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, business administration or similar field of study
- Previous business sales and business development experience preferably in the RTO industry
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving sales budgets and the ability to meet targets/KPIs
- Have proven leadership skills
