USG Boral is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help grow our commercial category. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager (VIC/TAS), you will be based at our Trade Store in Port Melbourne. In this role you will be focused on major commercial projects and customers, As such, you have strong networks within the building industry, and strong desire to create new business opportunities with in the position.

Within the role you will have the ability to offer a full range of products including internal linings and complimentary products allowing you to deliver strong solutions to your customers, while continuing your quest to become a recognised with in the commercial market. You will be a key member within pipeline development, major project tenders, offering complete packages to the lining market creating and developing strong customer relationships, while supplying the most innovative products available.

If you have a background that can allow you to think outside of the box to deliver the solutions, have the desire to be a part of securing landmark projects, the ability to collaborate with a dynamic team while advancing your career and reputation this may be the role for you.

You will be market savvy and a proactive self-starter with strong proven experience in the commercial construction industry. You focus on generating sales through your networks, as well as through gathering market intelligence around tenders and competitor activity, and your follow up on leads to convert your intelligence into new and continuing business.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in a similar role with well-established networks throughout Melbourne in the construction industry/community. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded however strong technical knowledge of the construction industry is preferred. Your communication, presentation and negotiation skills are second to none and you are comfortable and competent in a range of computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office), as well as experience using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Prospector, etc.).
