About the business
With over 15 years of experience in their digital marketing field, these guys are specialists at what they do. They have created a really successful business that has grown enormously and is set for further growth, especially with a GUN sales person joining their team. From humble beginnings, to offices in SYD, MEL and HQ in Brisbane they are pushing boundaries of innovation.
Web, Mobile, Integration Marketing, they do it all, a full service digital agency. Impossible isn't a thing with these guys! Their vision is simple: To be the leader in their field, to work together to achieve success and to produce work that provides the customer with the best solution. Simple.
As I write this ad, I am sat in their uber cool office. The radio is on, the atmosphere is professional yet non corporate, they have ALL the ammunition for success - you cannot not succeed in this company.
Some unique things are that they have family days out in New Farm Park or Southbank and lots of activity days to promote a team culture in the company. Every Friday arvo they pack up around 3.30pm, get together, have a "win of the week" that goes into a draw to win gold class movie tickets once a month. Little bonuses like that set them apart for sure.
If there is a cooler company in this space in Brisbane I would like to see it!
About the role
Honestly this position is UNIQUE. I am not sure I have ever encountered a sales role with the platform for massive success provided to you immediately. You cannot fail, it is that simple.
As a BDM you will have a free reign in terms of approaching everyone and anyone. No limits. With a killer CRM and proposal system, a template for everything they do and a CEO that will support you at every opportunity, all you need to bring is the energy, enthusiasm and dedication!
With an allocated list of over 400 of Australia's top Chief Marketing Officers the ALL you have to do is get calling and getting out in front of these people. Leads will also come through and passed to you but this is an outbound sales position, cold calling is the go and only those with the passion and spirit to pick up the phone need look at this role.
A fantastic incentive plan is in place, all KPI's are realistic and fair and you will earn over $200,000 per year as long as you apply yourself.
Benefits and perks
Salary is negotiable based on experience but somewhere around $100K base + super with an OTE of around $200K based on achieving a very realistic budget with the ammunition provided!
Skills and experience
All you need is ENERGY and PASSION and a NO FEAR FACTOR. You have to love cold calling for this role, no question about it.
As long as you are OK with picking up a phone, this role is OUTSTANDING. If you have an understanding or passion for design, websites, SEO, SEM, apps, etc then fantastic but not essential for the position.
Any ADVERTISING sales experience would be a huge plus, direct sales especially. If you have sold to Marketing Managers and CMO's then you would get an interview for sure!
