We have overseas branches operating in more than 10 countries aroud the world and recently opened a new operating branch in Ringwood, Melbourne with the objective of supporting UNITEC Customers from Australia and New Zealand, providing them with excellent service including fast spare parts service as well as professional and specialised assistance.

About the role

For our branch in Ringwood, Victoria we are looking for a

SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Job Description:

The person will be entrusted with new business activities, the collection and analysis of customer needs and the strengthening of our existing network.

They will also have to deal with the maintenance of relationships with customers, developing their potential and ensuring their loyalty.

Job Requirements:

  • Cold calling potential clients using a given clients' database to provide an introduction to our company
  • Asking pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements
  • Keep records of calls and register the customer's personal information and data accurately in our CRM
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Communication skills in Italian, both verbal and written is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Professional attitude and good personal presentation
  • Willingness to travel at short notice (24 - 48 hours)
  • The capacity to learn quickly and to be proactive
  • Support our new, fast growing branch with a can-do attitude
  • Reliability with all levels of management, with co-workers and with clients
  • Effectively communicate and introduce the technology of the company
  • Previous B2B sales experience is a plus but not mandatory. Most importantly the individual must learn to maintain, develop and build existing business relationships

  • Previous experience in the Agri Business is a plus
