The role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and results driven Sales Consultant to join our newly opened office in Sydney.
This role is based in Sydney, however the role will have National coverage.
Through client service excellence and by harnessing the talents of our people, you will help improve the lives of communities where we live and work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generating leads and turning them into sales opportunities
- Liaise with customers via telephone, email and face to face
- Work to KPI’s and revenue targets
- Arrange meetings with prospects in order to demonstrate products
- Negotiate prices with potential customers and close sales
- Identifying opportunities for new business
- Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure all administration is completed effectively
- Work closely with other departments and identify opportunities to cross sell

What you need
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably already in a role within the waste management/recycling industry or related experience
- Salesforce experience is an advantage
- Pre-established relationships with waste consultants
- Strong relationship development skills and the ability to build relationships at multiple levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Reasonable technical ability, sufficient to absorb sufficient product knowledge
- Someone who pays attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
- Commercially astute, with an understanding of budgeting and forecasting
