ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, results driven Key Account Manager to join our team based in Hume, ACT. You will take responsibility for the management of existing accounts and development of new business to deliver on agreed profit and sales objectives. In this autonomous role, you will maximise your opportunities by planning, scheduling and managing the customer base through effective sales and call cycle plans, monitoring of performance against these plans, ensuring fulfilment of service and price commitments to customers and conducting all duties in alignment with the company’s safety policies.

Critical to your success:
  • Demonstrated sales experience, preferably from within the building/plumbing industry.
  • Solid business acumen and a high level of communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • High energy and resilient character.
  • 5+ years in a fast-past sales role.
  • A strong knowledge of sales cycle and sales strategies.
  • Experience with administration procedures related to field sales (ie. quoting and pricing, sales reports, CRM systems and account queries).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • A customer service attitude and high integrity in business dealings.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate Excel skills.
