Based at Fraser Suites Perth, this role will lead and direct the Sales and Revenue teams. You will spearhead the direction of all sales initiatives for the property. You will work in conjunction with the growing Fraser Group and be representing multiple properties in Australia. You will be responsible for achieving the agreed revenue targets for the properties, you will coach and continue to develop a dynamic team, drive growth in MICE business, foster strong client relationships and improve any systems necessary to secure and retain clients.

Reporting to the General Manager at Fraser Suites Perth and the Director of Sales & Marketing - Australia, you will be working in conjunction with the Frasers Australia cluster team. This is a parental leave contract for an expected period of 9-12 months. 

Your responsibilities will include but not limit to the following:

  • Negotiation of corporate contracts
  • Relationship building with key clients and developing new clients
  • Effectively communicating and networking with head office and our other properties
  • Management of Sales team
  • Preparation of business plan for the property
  • Strategically develop the MICE aspect of our current business
  • Monitoring of monthly budget and implementation of sales initiatives to ensure occupancy and total revenue are achieved
  • Driving Sales Team to achieve individual targets and overall KPIs
  • Actively involved in the Hotel Management Team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a true Sales leader, with a focus on driving and motivating a team to success.
  • You are resourceful, tenacious and have an enviable reputation in sales .
  • Demonstrated performance working in a similar capacity
  • A tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are also advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in growth of all market segments
  • Professional rapport with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisation and negotiating skills
