This is a client-facing role responsible for growing revenue from a diverse mix of large, mid-sized and small locally based businesses. As Key Account Executive, you will be part of an enthusiastic and successful sales, marketing and editorial team, reporting to the Group Advertising and Media Sales Manager. You will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders selling existing and emerging products from within our print and digital advertising portfolio.

 

Essentials for this role include:

  • Knowledge and experience in the media industry (minimum of 1 to 4 years)
  • Demonstrable sales ability to achieve (and over-achieve) sales targets & KPI’s
  • Proven Account Management experience – preferably in a high performing media sales environment


Applicants should have a proven commitment to quality of work and client service, be able to demonstrate strategic marketing ability, be familiar with budget planning and forecasting and be confident negotiators and presenters.

Degree qualified candidates, particularly in business or marketing, as well as holding experience in either the digital / print / magazines / radio / or other media sales environments will be highly regarded.
