The Role:

This newly created role will see the National Business Development Manager focusing on National Major Accounts and Government within our GTO. This is a critical role in helping our GTO team reach the growth targets we have set for the next 1-2 years and as such requires a large amount of interstate travel and focusing on organisations with clients of 500 plus staff to generating new national business opportunities.

The holder of the position will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Creates and manages relationships with key stakeholders in industry
  • Markets the business to community and client organisations across Australia, including assisting organisations to allocate budgets and attract external funding
  • Assists the GTO team to meet standards, industry requirements and compliance
  • Develops and monitors industry consultations, project budgets and the development of Training and Assessment Strategies
  • Gathers research, industry knowledge and market intelligence to support the achievement of sales goals and overall business growth goals
  • Completes direct marketing and enrolment activities
  • Introduces and cross sells other ARC services which satisfy client needs
  • Participates in the National Sales team, including the development of strategic initiatives, other planning activities, organisational development and change management

As the successful candidate your previous experience in a National Sales role will see you being a big hitter when dealing with large organisations and developing and building relationships to engage ongoing partnerships. Your previous experience within a GTO will be highly regarded as well as your strong business acumen.
