Branch Management role with ANZ's leading Fire Protection Company

25 staff - Largely Field Technicians with team of Admin/Coordinators

Excellent location - High end salary + Super + Car

The Company

They are an Australian Fire Protection brand that have been around for decades. Originally founded as a distributor and importer of fire sprinklers and fire doors it grew large over the decades into a leading manufacturer of metal & steel products and into ANZ’s leading company in the Fire Protection industry.


The Role

To plan, organise and control all activities of the branch to ensure achievement of agreed objectives in quality performance, profitability and growth through the most efficient use of all resources including personnel, finance, marketing and equipment.


The Knowledge & Experience

Previous Fire industry experience in a Branch Management or Supervisory capacity is strongly preferred or alternatively a similar service based role in another building services environment.

Prior experience in safely and productively managing a distributed workforce in a service capacity is essential as is experience in providing high levels of customer service.

Exposure to P&L management would be highly regarded.


The Accountabilities

• Prepare business plans for the branch 
• Interpretation of financial reports 
• Ensure financial data and other reporting requirements are supplied accurately 
• Support the Company’s Quality Management System 
• Ensure the utilisation of branch resources is maximised 
• To identify and pursue new business opportunities 
• Control and enhance the image of the company 
• In consultation with the Service Manager interview and recruit personnel 
• Evaluate and appoint competent sub-contractors capable of supplying services 
• Assist with the negotiation EBA’s with staff and unions industrial relations 
• To undertake ongoing training as directed by the Company 
• Ensure the safety and health of all employees working within the branch 
• Ensure responsive action to service failures 
• Where considered appropriate represent the Company on industry bodies
• Monitor debtors to minimise outstanding and bad debts
• To ensure all branch correspondence is processed in an efficient manner
• To monitor all quoting/tendering opportunities performed by all branches
