About The Role

An Internal Sales Representative responsible for managing and developing key accounts in the Melbourne market.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Planning - Develop, implement & maintain annual sales plan that meets the outlined required targets for the year.

Budget Control - Monitor sales and use sales reports to meet and exceed budget expectations.

Customer Management - Provide a full range of customer support services that address customer queries and resolve customer problems relating to product usage and quality issues. Coordinate the entry of customer orders to ensure accurate and timely dispatch and delivery of products. Ensure a thorough and comprehensive business understanding of the clients operations and key challenges to provide tailored product solutions to meet their needs.

Business Development - Take leads provided from advertising outlets and convert them into sales and brand loyal customers. Suggest new product development where appropriate to meet the needs of the customer market.

Internal Relationships - Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including marketing, supply and operations management. Provide appropriate feedback relating to product and marketing needs for key customers and business expansion. Develop relationships to ensure customer requirements are met and to maximise effectiveness, identify sales synergies. Resolve sales & service issues.

Industry Knowledge - Keep abreast of information on industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor activity and best practices that may directly impact on the sale of a product.

Policies and Procedures - Work within and comply with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.

Dispatch & Delivery - Dispatch & Delivery of customer sales orders where required to complete the sale.

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role

  • High-level of customer service
  • Willingness to learn & expand knowledge
  • Open drivers licence
  • Willingness to travel

 

Position Details

Standard 40 hour week with additional hours where required to complete the role. Position is Salary based.
