The Business Development Manager - Solar is responsible for expanding our presence in the solar energy market. Your primary objective is to establish relationships within the industrial and commercial market for solar energy and manage the sales process to execution and deliver on sales targets.
The BDM must be a highly self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and has the vision and experience to develop and manage an effective set of market development initiatives large end-customer accounts.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Sales experience with a proven record of delivering on targets in the solar sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities from prospect to customer.
- Ability to present a case study on delivering on solution selling to a client.
- Skills in negotiation and execution at an executive level,
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team contributing to leads and achieving a common goal
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a “hunter attitude”
- Commercially astute with and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
