We are a well-established West Australian mid-sized company representing global brands with process equipment that service the mining and mineral processing industry. Always looking to develop our market share through offering reliable solutions from our products and services, we are now at a stage, ready to hire an additional sales specialist to further grow our Kalgoorlie operations.
Ideally, from our experience, to be successful in this industry, you would have a strong mechanical trade or engineering background. If you have experienced on the road sales, cold calling and building a relationship from scratch all the better, but we would be willing to train the right candidate who is new to this field.
Along with having a great mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, the ability to deal with maintenance managers, operations managers and engineers is paramount.
Your role will include:
- Developing & recognizing reliability-based solutions for existing and new clients
- Presenting effective proposals and quotations
- Cold calling as well as visiting existing clients and working on strategic sales campaigns targeted to build further opportunities with key players.
You will be, (or to be developed) a skilled solution seller and have a strong understanding of mineral processing and mining. You will be confident in front of customers and capable of working with technical specifications across a wide range of industry.
