ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a highly successful financial management firm who believe that insurance and finance products alike should be easy to understand, easy to access and allow you peace of mind. My client understands how important strong business relationships, that put the client in the best position possible are. All through the general insurance component of the business is only 7 months old, there is a very bright future ahead that will be lead from the front by two highly experienced directors.
ABOUT THE POSISTION
Simply the role is that of a general insurance broker. It will be a very interesting role that will see you working with multiple industry figure heads including the Transport & Rural Industries, and high network individuals whose insurance needs can be varied and complex.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Building a sizeable and profitable portfolio of clients
- Building a quality pipeline of new client prospects, offering risk solutions and converting prospects into satisfied clients
- Sourcing renewal quotes, processing renewals and quoting new business
- Assisting clients with enquiries, processing endorsements and cancellations
- Liaising with underwriters and internal stakeholders
- Determine and assess risk and advise your clients accordingly
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Tier 1 qualified
- Insurance product knowledge across multiple lines
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Able to maintain existing relationships and seek out new business opportunities and close deals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident to liaise with high profile clients and effectively utilise underwriter relationships
- The ability to secure new business, and then maintain those relationships
