This client is a global software vendor specialising in Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence software. Due to extensive growth they are looking to hire an Internal Sales Specialist to join the team on an initial 3 month contract. This role will focus on following up business leads generated by website traffic, events and other marketing channels to qualify potential new clients.
Your day will involve talking to numerous people and understanding their IT environment, qualifying their suitability and developing a pipeline of business.
Position responsibilities:
- Manage leads that come through marketing channels
- Qualify leads and pass to the right sales department
- Collate leads and manage the follow up from events, conferences, etc.
- Provide product and solution information to prospective leads
Position requirements:
- Experience in an outbound sales, lead generation or similar role
- Some experience in IT or Telecommunications (education or work related)
- Experience in qualifying leads and identifying sales prospects
- Excellent communication skills
