Hyster-Yale Group is a global market leader in materials handling equipment. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally primarily under the Hyster, Yale and UTILEV brands. Products are distributed to market through a network of independent dealers to industries including manufacturing, logistics, and transport and stevedoring. 

 This role is accountable for developing, managing/ coordinating and growing HYG designated Global Accounts

 Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Building a strong partnership with a central, global decision-maker or influencer.
  • Coordinate and provide global solutions offers to global major account customers – including multi-theatre pricing and discount levels for all products within all territories constraints of Level Playing field and AOP targets
  • Implementing Global accounts to the Pacific theatre and the creation of global consistency in the management of Global customers.  This element could include coordination of specific KPI that highlight the HYG value proposition the customer i.e.: service/ aftermarket/ warranty, fleet management, customer performance reporting and local issue resolution
  • Inter-theatre coordination of sales opportunities
  • The ideal person must demonstrate good leadership skills and be well organized to effectively manage multiple projects within budget and timeframes.
  • You must also be highly customer focused with a desire to bring new ideas to life.
  • Management of tenders at an international and global level
  • Order, shipment, and discount forecasting at a manufacturer and theatre level
  • Customer selection, screening, and timing of agreements
  • Conduct the negotiations at the optimal of decision making

 

 To be successful for this position, you will have:

  • MBA or Business degree
  • Good sales track record, experienced in 3-way-diplomatic negotiations (Manufacturer-Customer-Dealer);
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a commercial environment, with at least 7 years in a sales related role.
  • Experience of negotiating major contracts across multiple borders.
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment
  • Analytical Skills
  • Able to effectively use the latest business software tools inclusive of CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • IT Skills 

We are based in Milperra just off the M5 with free on-site parking.
